Rehearsal Times

Parent-Child String Orchestra Rehearsals: Saturdays from 10am - 11:30am

Adult String Orchestra: Saturdays from 10:30-12:00 PM

Family Orchestra Rehearsals: Sundays 4:30pm - 6:00pm

Silver String Orchestra: Mondays from 6:00pm-7:30pm

All rehearsals are held at First Methodist Church

Performances also take place at this location unless otherwise noted.

Exception: Silver String Orchestra rehearsals are held at Arbor Oaks at Crestview | Bryan, Texas.

Application Deadline for Parent and Child String Orchestra: Friday, September 5, 2026

Notification of Acceptance September 9, 2026

Instrument Fitting: Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 5PM

Classes begin September 19, 2026

Applications for Family Orchestra and Adult Orchestra are rolling throughout the year.

Family Orchestra begins September 13th and Adult Orchestra begins September 19th

Silver Strings Orchestra begins September 28, 2026

October 25, 2026: Family Orchestra OPEN HOUSE at FMC, 4:30-6:00PM

November 21, 2026: Parent-Child String Orchestra and Adult Orchestra: OPEN HOUSE at FMC, 10-11:30AM

December 4, 2026: First Friday, Holiday Concert! Kimbell Cultural Events Center at 7PM, 607 N. Main St. in Bryan

Spring 2027 Concerts and Open House

March 20, 2027: Parent-Child String Orchestra and Adult Orchestra, OPEN HOUSE at FMC, 10-11:30AM

March 22, 2027: Family Orchestra OPEN HOUSE at FMC, 4:30-6:00PM

April 24, 2027: George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum at 11AM

May 8, 2027: String Fling! and Finale Concert at The Kimbell Cultural Events Center at 7PM, 607 N. Main St. in Bryan
